Gotta love the top down shots of waterways. Especially as the late afternoon sun hits the mangroves. This was a really neat boardwalk out to the Halifax River and offered some neat launch spots for mangrove kayaking or SUPing. It's the Ponce inlet preserve. The other half of this preserve has an awesome massive live oak and tons of vultures :). Have you ever been at the right place at the right time by accident? Well I sure did at this spot. Not only did I not plan on stopping here, but I definitely didn't plan on arriving right at sunset when a train was scheduled to go by! Amazing.

Following up on yesterday's picture, these were from the same day but happened to end up in Wiscasset right at sunset and found the public boat launch. While I was flying around getting some shots I found these fun patterns of clam fishers and the railroad that passes right by the docks. And wouldn't you know it, a train came through as well!
